Welcome to Semco Style Institute B.V. In this document we will explain more about what we do and how we work. One of our key principles is Trust. And from this basic principle we would like to approach our customers. But business is business and we would like to also be transparent with regards to our governance on payments and cancellations.

Application process

When you have selected a Course you can register online. After registration for a Course, you enter into a binding Contract with SSI. At least ten days before the start date of the Course, SSI will send you the start times and venue details. It might happen that SSI may have to amend the start times, the reason for this might differ.

SSI may cancel a Course if the required number of participants has not been reached, in case of illness or inability of the SSI instructor, or due to other reasons beyond SSI's control. However we will always contact you personally and make a plan together that work for you and us as soon as possible.

Course Fee & Payment

The Course Fee will be specified in the application form. All fees are exclusive VAT. In the event any VAT is due, SSI will invoice the Participant accordingly. We would like you to pay at the latest 14 days before the beginning of a course. If payment is an issue give us a call, within reasonability we can always make a plan together. Again, trust being the key word. We reserve rights to collect statutory interest or collection fees if no agreement can be reached on payments that are overdue.

Termination & Cancellation

Contracts are a two way street. SSI may terminate the contract immediately if you do not meet your obligations under these Terms and Conditions or infringe the (intellectual) property rights of SSI. Please note that all our payments go via automatic collection or direct online payment after registration.

If you are unable to attend the Course, you are entitled to terminate the contract by written notice at any time or find a replacement. The following cancellation fees shall apply:

  • cancellation within 3 months in advance: 50% of the Course fee.

If you have booked accommodation at SSI and you wish to cancel your booking, we will apply the cancellation fees of the accommodation.

Privacy Policy

SSI believes that your personal data should be treated with utmost care. Therefore, we process your personal data in compliance with all applicable laws on data privacy.

Intellectual property rights

The Semco Style methodology and all Content provided by SSI during or in respect of the Course, is protected by intellectual property rights (such as copyrights, trademarks, trade names, copyrights, trade secrets, know how, domain names and other proprietary rights). These intellectual property rights are and will remain the sole property of SSI.
